  • 🌟Live-In Nanny – Full-Time (6 Days per Week), Winchester

A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced, caring and professional live-in nanny to join their household and provide dedicated care for their youngest child, aged 11 months.

The role will primarily focus on supporting the family’s youngest daughter throughout the day, while her six-year-old twin siblings are at school. The family is also recruiting a full-time nanny/housekeeper, whose primary focus will be supporting the twins and assisting with the smooth running of the household. This allows the live-in nanny to focus predominantly on the care and development of the baby, although there will naturally be occasions where teamwork is required to ensure the household runs smoothly.

Mum is expecting another baby, so there will be times of both shared care and sole charge, particularly when she is attending appointments.

The successful candidate will be nurturing, organised, proactive and genuinely enjoy supporting a young child’s development. We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, respectful of a family’s privacy and able to build a long-term, trusting relationship.

    Duties will include:

    * Providing loving, attentive care for an 11-month-old girl.

    * Managing her daily routine, including meals, bottles, naps and bedtime routine.

    * Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities, including reading, singing, sensory play, developmental activities and outdoor walks.

    * Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the baby.

    * Bathing and carrying out the evening routine.

    * Keeping the nursery, toys, clothing and the child’s belongings clean, tidy and well organised.

    * Providing sole charge care when required while Mum attends appointments or has other commitments.

    * Working collaboratively with the family’s nanny/housekeeper to ensure a smooth and well-organised household.

This is a childcare-focused role, with no housekeeping responsibilities beyond those relating to the baby, as the family will also employ a full-time nanny/housekeeper.

The family is looking for someone who is kind, calm, dependable and takes pride in providing exceptional childcare within a busy family home. A professional approach, excellent communication skills and a respectful attitude towards family life are essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming family in a long-term role where your primary focus will be the care and development of one child, whilst working as part of a supportive team within the household. Ref: SLW27/7
