The Surrey Nanny Agency was established by Lorraine Gordon who is a qualified nursery nurse (NNEB certified) with over 30 years' experience and additional qualifications in education and training, assessing and advanced personal training, and nutritional advisory; specialising in fitness instructing (QCF) exercise and physical activity for children. These qualifications allow an understanding of how difficult and important it is to find the perfect childcare for your precious little ones.
We pride ourselves on our personal service and our understanding that emergencies do not always happen during office hours. Therefore, we can almost always successfully place emergency childcare at short notice.
Since January 2004 when the company was incorporated, we have maintained regulatory training such as Safer Recruitment in Education, GDPR, Prevent, Equality & Diversity, SEN and Child Protection courses to ensure we are able to provide the most dependable service.

The Surrey Nanny Agency is able to supply daily nannies on a permanent, temporary, full time or part time basis in Surrey and the surrounding counties including South London. Listening to your individual requirements we aim to offer you candidates that are suitably matched and as part of our aftercare service we provide advice during the course of your nanny’s employment. Our online recruitment registration allows you to browse with unlimited access to all our registered childcarers seeking employment at your convenience. Your job vacancy will be advertised on our website and CVs of any new candidates showing interest will be emailed to you.
Babysitting register
Our babysitting register provides a highly professional service with guarantee of an evening sitter whenever required and daily cover if necessary. All our babysitters are qualified nursery nurses or have extensive experience in childcare, they are all personally interviewed, reference checked and have DBS enhanced disclosures. It is customary to allocate families a familiar face that the children recognise therefore families are encouraged to build up a relationship with their babysitters.
Emergency childcare
Whether it's a last minute panic, or an anticipated gap in childcare, we provide the answers that parents need in any emergency. The Surrey Nanny Agency are able to offer either a one off Nanny, Babysitter or an annual registration. Night
nannies
A Night Nanny will arrive at 9pm and leave at 7am. These hours can be more flexible if pre-arranged. A Night Nanny will work with a family's individual requirements & will address a range of issues, They can help parents of newborns establish a routine and healthy sleeping habits, they can support older babies and toddlers who may have difficulties in settling at the start of the evening and later if they wake during the night or if your baby has a specific issue such as reflux, that needs detailed knowledge of the care required.
